Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a complementary therapy that focuses on the musculoskeletal system, particularly the spine, with the goal of supporting overall movement and physical wellbeing. Chiropractors use hands-on techniques and gentle adjustments to help promote comfort and a sense of physical ease. Many people choose chiropractic care as part of a holistic approach to wellbeing, as sessions may help support posture, mobility, and relaxation. Each treatment is tailored to the individual, taking into account their needs and preferences. Chiropractic is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions and may be used alongside conventional healthcare and other wellbeing practices.

Reiki

Reiki is a gentle complementary therapy that focuses on relaxation and supporting overall wellbeing. Originating in Japan, Reiki is commonly used as part of holistic wellness practices to encourage calm, balance, and a greater sense of connection between mind and body.

During a Reiki session, the practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above the body in a series of positions. The session is designed to create a quiet, supportive environment that may help the body shift into a relaxed state. Many people report feeling deeply relaxed during and after a session, and some experience a greater sense of clarity, calm, or emotional balance.

Research exploring Reiki and other relaxation-based therapies has investigated potential effects on stress, anxiety, pain, and physiological measures such as heart rate and blood pressure. While some studies suggest positive outcomes, scientific evidence is still developing and further high-quality research is needed.

Reiki is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions. It is offered as a complementary practice that may be used alongside conventional healthcare and other wellbeing approaches to support relaxation and overall mind–body balance.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is a traditional technique used in many complementary health practices. It involves placing specialised cups on the skin to create gentle suction. This suction is commonly used as part of bodywork therapies and may help encourage circulation while supporting relaxation and a sense of physical ease.

Many people choose cupping as part of their wellbeing routine, particularly when experiencing muscle tightness, physical fatigue, or general tension associated with daily activities. The treatment is designed to create a calm and supportive environment where the body can relax and unwind.

During a session, cups are placed on specific areas of the body for a short period of time. The sensation is often described as a gentle pulling or lifting feeling on the skin. Some temporary circular marks may appear afterwards, which usually fade naturally over several days. Each cupping session is tailored to the individual and may be combined with other complementary therapies where appropriate to support overall wellbeing and relaxation. Cupping therapy is offered as a complementary practice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a technique performed by trained practitioners to address tight areas within muscles, often called myofascial trigger points. During a session, a thin sterile needle is gently inserted into specific points in the muscle.

This process is commonly used in complementary therapies and may help support muscle relaxation, encourage local circulation, and promote a sense of physical ease. Experiences can vary between individuals, and each session is tailored to the person’s comfort and needs. Dry needling is offered as a complementary therapy and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions.
